Will it be legal to refinance while a case is pending?

lisyaoran buy without a prescription asked:
There was no order or judgment yet but then I refinanced and cashed out some money from the property that was subject to the case. I entered the settlement agreement after the refinancing was done. After everything is done with, will the refinancing of the property before the settlement be considered legal?

Can anyone in the law community or majoring in law help with this?
This is a case between trust settlor and a trustee. Not between a bank or lender. The property is not being foreclosed or repossessed. This case is being fought because of an argument in the trust. The refinance happened when the case was filed, the case has not begun yet. The case did go into court but the judge rescheduled/delayed the actual case proceeding.
