How do I deal with a lawyer that overcharged me in a court case and is now suing for payment?

We hired a lawyer to represent us in a court case that an ex filed regarding modifcation Viagra buy cheap of child support and visitation. Our lawyer overcharged us and when we questioned him, he removed him self as being on record as our lawyer with the courts and is now suing us for payment. We paid 75% of the bill, but have questions on some of the remaining charges.
